In the nearby future the occult and technology are one and the same, the company Kliph Corp has developed the Daemon Invokation Software (D.I.S.), dooming humankind to a war for their own survival.

These Daemons are entities created by the collective conscious that are born and reside on a place called The Conceptual, being sealed away there by The Monarkh.
However, they'll soon be released into our world through the D.I.S. and as a consequence of the war for humanity's survival.
